Dreaming of energy, seeing it, feeling it or otherwise acknowledging a stream, source or destination of energy is typically, a spiritual experience.

Unless the energy is itself directly connected to a household electrical system, or to some other recognizable energetic source of known, manmade mechanical device, energy in its own right, is a cosmic commodity.

A thing that can not be created nor destroyed, energy typically comes to introduce the dreamer to a new form of sight. Using the third eye, the sight of the heart, one is able to begin creatively working with the manifestation of energy into the physical world. By dreaming of seeing streams of energy, either in your normal physical world or, out in the Universe and/or cosmos, you are being informed of a new ability, one that allows you to begin to discern the physical sight of non-visible energetic forms.

ENTANGLE
Becoming entangled in something in your dream can be a sign of stress and of being overwhelmed in life overall. Things like vines, piled boxes or a thicket of unruly bushes, can suggest that the dreamer is at the mercy of immediate circumstance and unable to see their way clear of the confusion.

ERASE
Finding yourself erasing something in a book, chalk board or maybe even in the sand, is recognition of an error as well as an attempt to hide it.

Dreaming of escaping or, needing to escape a situation, is often a fear-driven type of dream manifestation that occurs as a result of similar feelings in your daily life. When you deny a situation that is unpleasant or avoid dealing with people or events that are disagreeable to you, often you will encounter similar energy systems while you dream that take on the form of escape-scenarios.

ETHERIC
The etheric, or ethers of time and space, are an intangible substance that does not lend itself to description. Likely to be a profound type of dream experience, becoming aware of the etheric layer of time and space displaces the dreamer and actually sets them outside of the space/time limitations. EVIDENCE
Being made aware of something being "evidence", suggests that the dreamer is really dealing with issues of blame. There is a need to assign responsibility and so the individual looks for 'evidence' that will support their position.

The 'evidence' in your dream may also be showing you supporting arguments from a waking situation. If this dream scenario includes the law in anyway or, in other words, authority, the dream-evidence is usually used against you, the dreamer.

Dreaming of evil elements, of evil doing dream characters or of participating in an evil act, is direct suggestion that the dreamer is in conflict within themselves. In terms of "spiritual evil", this will depend largely on the dreamer's personal belief system, how they were raised and what they were taught to believe in with respect to the devil, demons and the like. EVOLUTION
Often a dream message that speaks to one's ability to progress in life, evolution is a method by which an individual sees and measures its success. Sometimes referring to a retarded or stagnating stage of life, evolution can even terminate at a dead end.

Dreaming of evolutionary advancements among man or animal suggests that the dreamer is either moving through their own ascendancy and graduating to higher planes of spiritual attainment or, that there is a strong belief in the physical advancement of life in this reality.

While these are fairly extreme opposite positions, each do in fact speak to the attainment of new levels of reality and existence. The primary difference is that, in the physical, there is implied limitation that comes at the pinnacle of striving forward.

This can sometimes intimate that the dreamer is not confident that they can advance beyond a certain stage of learning. In spiritual terms, evolution is superseded by the soul experience that forever strives toward perfection. Unavailable in physical terms, spiritual ascension is, for all intents and purposes, infinite by definition. EXAM
A dream exam can be analyzed on at least two distinct levels. Dependent on surrounding dream elements, it may be speaking to current life lessons and the growing pains associated with learning in waking life or, on the mundane level, exams often deal with the standards set for us, or by us and are perceived as our drive to achieve them.

On a spiritual level, dreaming of preparing for, or taking an exam, is often indication of a spirit ascending, evidence of one who has actually passed the test and who now graduates to the next level.

EXCREMENT
While often a disturbing dream image, excrement can have a very positive connotation of inner cleansing. People often dream of going to the bathroom, (usually at the most inopportune time), but it is not as common for an individual to dream of actually having a bowel movement. When such a dream does occur, it can be indication of a powerful cleansing, one of depth and tangible quality.

As a dream symbol, excrement typically represents waste and the bi-product of living. Seeing mounds of it might describe a situation that has been entirely, used up or, it could be suggesting that the dreamer is standing on ground that is polluted.

As an archetypal image, excrement has a rather magical quality as it can be used to reflect the alchemical process. Overall; however, seeing excrement in a dream, handling it or otherwise being exposed to it, is indication of waste, depleted resources and potentially, of infection. Finding excuse in a dream is akin to projecting blame onto another; with suggestion of a lack of personal responsibility, an excuse becomes an illegitimate reason to release one from improper behavior.

If one is being excused from a situation, invitation or otherwise being released from obligation, this meaning becomes quite different. There is a forgiveness implied in the action and can speak to either a need to forgive or, that the dreamer themselves is in need of forgiveness from someone else.

EXPERT
Having an expert of anything show up in your dream often brings dualistic meaning for the dreamer. It can represent a higher aspect of the dreamer's self and therefore, it can represent wisdom. Conversely, and depending on the surrounding dream elements, an expert might also be representative of a fixed attitude, one that is rigid and unchanging and therefore, not particularly helpful, but rather more representative of one who is stuck on being right.

An expert implies a full body of knowledge on a particular topic and, once achieved, it can imply there is nothing left to learn. Seeing an expert in your dream may be advising you that there is in fact, more to learn.

Rarely a positive dream sign, exploiting a dream-character or, being the one exploited in your dream, is often a referral to a current, waking situation. There is suggestion here that an innocent is being taken advantage of and that, almost regardless of dream-situation, expression or circumstance, that the dreamer is the one who is doing the exploiting.

As this is a difficult thing for the average person to admit, the dream mind inverts the information and characters being portrayed. Often making the dreamer the victim in dream events and thereby, giving the person permission to look upon their improper conduct and behavior.

A definite dream sign that you need to examine your personal motives and ensure that you have not become the perpetrator of victimization, this is a clear message to mend your ways. The surrounding dream elements are likely to illuminate the specifics of your waking situation and inform you of the true victim of exploitation.

EXPLOSION
Usually a direct result of mounting emotional stress in the waking world, explosions come into dreams to get attention as the dreamscape is a safe space for cleansing to occur. The release of anger, fear and anxiety coming to a head are often symbolized by such extreme dream imagery as explosions.

While these are often scary dreams that can leave a person feeling shaken and even afraid, they are actually a positive dream symbol. Explosions are evidence that the dreamer can no longer carry the emotional burden of stress and so a pressure valve is being activated. EXTERNALIZE
Externalizing emotions in a dream is primarily, why you dream. The human mind takes daily events, emotional for the most part, and externalizes these emotions, even projecting them onto other dream characters, to allow the mind opportunity to view such emotions from a different perspective.

When, in your dream, you become aware of this process of externalizing your emotions, attitudes or perceptions, you are approaching a state of lucid experience. This can be used as a dreaming trigger to inspire lucidity, but most often, it becomes a dream message that you are truly encountering specific aspects of your own personality.

EYE
A master dream symbol, a master archetype as well, the eye has held elevated status in man's consciousness since the beginning. If "eyes" are made a point of in your dream, the first thing being spoken to is both observation and discrimination. You are being told to pay attention to the details.

As a body part, the eye is that mechanism that actually takes in light and converts it into reflective and comprehensive information. As a light receiver, the eye is a significant dream symbol, ascending into realms of the spiritual. Because of this light connection, and the eye's natural function "to see", it is symbolic of sight itself.

* THIRD EYE : The two physical eyes of the body provide sight into the physical dimensions of life; the third eye extends that sight into non-physical dimension. To dream of the third eye, on yourself or another dream character, is a powerful symbol and omen of spiritual awakening. It declares that you are being exposed or introduced, to your own power.

Traditionally, the third eye also resonates with fire and has become associated with the "evil eye". A belief long anchored in many societies and over much time, the evil eye is said to empty houses and fill graveyards. Specifically, superstition tells of old women and young brides who possess especially, dangerous eyes. Particularly susceptible to their effect are small children, new Mothers, young wives, horses, dogs, milk and corn. The life force of the evil eye is to send intentional glance, capable of reducing a thing to ashes. An organ of inward vision, it represents the Heart's Eye and is therefore, capable of manifestation.

* EYE TROUBLE : Having an injured dream-eye or one that is otherwise impaired to the point that it affects your dream-vision, is indication of a form of denial. It suggests the dreamer is unwilling to look, and to see.

If you are conscious of the injury being on/in the left eye, your dream may be speaking to feminine or intuitive issues or perhaps, to issues of passivity or the past. If it is the right eye, it may be a logic problem or an inability to accurately project your intentions. It could also be indicating an action or speaking to future situations.
